Among the 50 finalists of the Startup Competition at South Summit Brazil 2025, Pix Force, a startup from southern Brazil, stands out by combining cutting-edge innovation, international expansion, and a strong presence in the industrial sector. Founded in Porto Alegre, with additional offices in the United States and Finland, the company has now inaugurated its first Asian branch in Hong Kong, reinforcing its mission to democratize the global use of computer vision powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
In an interview with starten.tech, Pix Force CEO Daniel Moura emphasized the importance of the competition. “It’s a great honor to be among the finalists once again. We participated in the very first South Summit and were awarded as the Most Innovative Startup. Being here is always an opportunity to showcase what we’re building”.
International Expansion
The new Hong Kong office comes alongside a strategic contract with one of the region’s leading utility companies. Pix Force was also selected for the Hong Kong Science Park program, which supports international tech companies through infrastructure, strategic connections, and financial incentives to establish operations in the city.
“Our presence in Hong Kong brings us closer to some of the world’s fastest-growing industrial economies. And the beauty of working with computer vision is that it’s such a new field that we’re able to compete anywhere,” Moura explained.
Technology Driving Industrial Safety and Efficiency
Pix Force develops AI-based SaaS products that convert images and videos into structured data for smarter decision-making. One of the company’s key strengths is its focus on operational safety. “From camera images, we can detect risks like fires or technical failures that the human eye might miss. It’s as if our algorithms are eyes that never blink,” said Moura.
Some of Pix Force’s leading solutions include:
- Pix Safety – Real-time monitoring of safety compliance using existing camera systems.
- Pix Flight – Automated drone inspections for industrial assets and electrical networks.
- Idexa – A no-code platform for building custom AI models tailored to industrial applications.
A Strategic Presence at South Summit
Moura also praised South Summit Brazil as a vital platform for exposure and business development. “This is where we meet big companies, investors, and potential partners. The visibility here is incredible. Just today, I spoke with clients from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and major banks. Plus, 40% of our team is based in Rio Grande do Sul, so being part of this event is also a matter of pride and identity”.
Pix Force also had a strong presence on stage. On Wednesday, CGO Mikail Cestari presented at The Next Big Thing stage. On Friday, April 11, CEO Daniel Moura joined a panel at the RS Innovation Stage, where he discussed how startups are shaping the future of innovation. “We’ll talk about infrastructure, electric vehicles, and ESG. But none of it matters without safety. That’s where our technology comes in—risk prevention, saving lives, and optimizing operations,” he explained.
With a journey that combines applied research, a global mindset, and deep roots in the industrial sector, Pix Force exemplifies how artificial intelligence can move from hype to real-world transformation.
