MIDITEC Network Surpasses R$ 27.6 Million in Revenue with Incubated Startups

The MIDITEC Network, composed of incubators from Santa Catarina and promoted by the Associação Catarinense de Tecnologia (ACATE) in partnership with Sebrae Startups, has reached the milestone of 100 supported startups in 2024. Together, these companies generated over R$ 27.6 million in revenue and raised approximately R$ 5.8 million through investments and funding initiatives.

Recognized as one of the top five incubator networks in the world by the UBI Global ranking, the MIDITEC Network provides startups with support in stages such as validation, demand generation, sales traction, and scalability. Additionally, the program offers consulting, networking, and connections with investors and mentors, strengthening Santa Catarina’s innovation ecosystem and driving regional economic development.

2024 Highlights

Among the year’s standout startups is UEEK Digital, incubated at Épsilon in Lages, SC. The company from the Serrana region surpassed R$ 1 million in revenue, a result attributed to strategic efforts and the team’s dedication.

“This achievement validates our efforts and the path we chose. From the beginning, I envisioned this outcome, but experiencing it alongside such an engaged team makes it even more special,” celebrates Aryana Valcanaia, CEO of UEEK Digital.

Another notable startup was Guapeco, incubated at MIDITEC in Florianópolis. The company ranked among the top 30 finalists of the Sebrae Startups Award and participated in Inova Startups, an initiative that distributed financial investments with support from partners such as Sebrae/SC, Raja Ventures, and Bossa Invest.

In the BRDE Labs SC 2024, a program by the Banco Regional de Desenvolvimento do Extremo Sul in partnership with ACATE, three startups stood out:

  • Emusys (Florianópolis) and Connect Carbon (Lages): awarded in the Growth phase.
  • Ciclix (Florianópolis): a finalist in the Venture stage, where it prepared to receive investments and attract investors.

Scope and New Initiatives

The MIDITEC Network encompasses incubators from various regions of Santa Catarina, including:

  • Florianópolis (MIDITEC and SebraeHub);
  • Lages (Épsilon);
  • Chapecó (INCTECh);
  • Criciúma (Itec.In);
  • Blumenau (Gene);
  • Rio do Sul (GTEC);
  • Jaraguá do Sul (Novale);
  • Joinville (Softville).

The newest member of the network, the Marina Tech incubator in Itajaí, is currently implementing the MIDITEC methodology.

With a broad reach, the network reinforces its mission to boost the development of innovative businesses, strengthening Santa Catarina’s economy and innovation ecosystem.
